Today, in the interest of lifehacking your bookshelf, I’m rounding up my favorite 13 “book hacks” for getting the most from your bound literature. The first three hacks provide ways to integrate your computer with your local library, from a web-based notification tool to a Firefox extension to a killer Mac-only menu bar app.
So my MacBook Pro is waiting for me back in VT. Meanwhile my nearly 4 year old PowerBook just decided to start wildly flickering the screen. I think it must know its days of garnering such attention are waning.

Sighhhh…. For the last two months it’s been taking over 60 seconds to send any messages. Supposedly the Google engineers are investigating the issue. Lock-in sucks.
